Congratulations to the National Council for Persons with Disabilities and its affiliated organizations up at the NCPD Complex on the foundation laying ceremony for its new storage facility. The shared storage facility will be used by organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) at the NCPD complex to store mobility aids and house a light workshop for servicing assistive devices.
Responding to the request by OPDs and the NCPD for this new facility, Fiji Support Program Facility had identified its importances to the disability sector. We are also pleased to be supporting the master planning and refurbishments of the NCPD complex, which will benefit a range of OPDs who use this space.
